IP Evaluations Update

Hello all,
 
I just wanted to touch base with you so you understand how this weekend will work.
 
We are evaluating each player this Saturday and Sunday so that they are placed on a team with players of like skill.  This is to ensure that each player has the opportunity to develop their skills in the best situation.    
 
In order for this to run as smoothly as possible I need the following from each parent.
 
1)    Check in at the sign in booth. I will be there. You will be given a jersey that your player is to wear for the evaluation.  Please return the jersey to the desk upon leaving.  Do not keep the jersey as we need to use the same jersey for multiple sessions.  You will receive the same jersey back on Sunday.
 
2)    You need to come to your assigned session below only.  Please try to arrive a few minutes early so you can make sure you are on time getting on the ice.  Your child will not be allowed on the ice except to his/her assigned session.  There are no exceptions to this rule.  Sorry in advance but it just keeps things moving and organized during the evaluations.
  
3)    There are to be no parents on the bench.  The evaluators are on the bench and we will have a trainer there as well.  If your child needs you we will call you over to the bench to assist.  If not please stay in the stands or on the glass.
 
4)    The evaluations may not take the full 50 mins of ice time.  It is totally about the evaluators and if they got the kids evaluated properly.  So do not be surprised if the ice session ends early.  In the past the evaluations have taken 25-45 minutes depending on the group size.  After the evaluations are all completed the players will leave the ice.  So be ready to get your child once the evaluations are completed and not at the end of the ice time.
  
5)    BE POSITIVE with your child.  This should not be a stressful situation for yourself or your child.  This should be a fun and positive experience for them.
