2025 SMHA Education Bursary
Stittsville Minor Hockey Association (SMHA) is pleased to be providing three (3) $500 educational bursaries to association members who are graduating from secondary school in the spring of 2025.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Registered in the 2024-2025 minor hockey season as a player or official and in good standing with SMHA
- You must be graduating from a secondary school in spring 2025.
- You must be pursuing a career requiring further education or training (e.g. university, college, trade school etc.)
- You must have played minor hockey with SMHA for a minimum of three years. Note: IP and Novice years do not qualify (first year of eligibility is Minor Atom); or you must have officiated with SMHA for a minimum of three years
PLEASE NOTE: Students who have a parent or guardian on the SMHA Executive are ineligible, unless there are three or fewer eligible applicants.

Complete this application form and forward it with the required attachments to the attention of the SMHA President at [email protected].
APPLICATION DEADLINE
All applications must be received by the SMHA no later than 23:59 hours, Wednesday April 30, 2025. Late or incomplete applications (a missing attachment will be considered as an incomplete application) will not be considered.
The successful applicant will be notified by the middle of June 2024. The decision will be made by the SMHA selection committee and will not be subject to review.
