2025/26 RAMS Competitive Conditioning & Tryouts
Registration for 2025/26 Rams Conditioning and/or Tryouts for players born 2008 to 2016 is now open! Please complete the registration form for your player and read the following important information.
Conditioning and Tryout Fees
Conditioning (optional): $200/player
Tryouts: $200/player

**NOTE** There are no refunds for conditioning and/or tryout registration.
Conditioning
Each Conditioning group receives 6 hours of ice but it may consist of 5 sessions.
U10 to U18 Conditioning will begin after Labour Day.

A reminder email will be sent 1 week in advance confirming your player’s registration and schedule.
Tryouts
Tryouts will begin immediately following conditioning sessions. Tryout schedule can be found here
Players must have their applicable SMHA registration fees paid and be in good standing with SMHA prior to stepping on the ice for tryouts.
Tryout Process
We recommend that players arrive at least 45 minutes before the first session to allow time for check-in.
Jerseys
RAMS tryout jerseys will be provided upon check-in and the same jersey must be worn for the entire tryout process. All other equipment is the responsibility of the individual player.
Tryout releases begin following the 3rd tryout session (2nd for U16/U18). The SMHA website news page will be updated to invite a list of players to continue with the tryout process. The list will be posted by level, jersey number, and colour after each tryout session. Please check the website regularly for any updates.
Players selected for Competitive RAMS Teams will have additional Rams Fees and Team fees (in addition to SMHA Registration fees)
All Team Fees: $500
Rams Fees:
U10 & U11: $900/Player
U12 to U15: $950/player
U16 & U18: $900/player

For Players Released from Silver Seven
If your player was released from Silver Seven and they are coming back to RAMS tryouts, please ensure SMHA registration fees, the $25 S7 transfer fee and tryout fees are paid in full before tryouts.
