Canadian Tire Kanata Xmas Tree Fundraiser, Team Calendar, U7 - 2, U7 (Stittsville Rams)

Hello U7 Coaches and Managers,

On Wednesday, I met with Pam Malcomson, owner of Canadian Tire Kanata. Her family are the ones who sponsor our U7 program by providing us with jerseys, goalie gear, pucks and cones. She has a fundraising opportunity for us which I’d like to go over. Her family has donated one of the decorated Christmas trees in the store. U7 teams will sell tickets to raffle off the tree (with decorations). Our program will get to keep all funds raised and put them towards the program (shooter tutor/pass assist for JLA or to teams for their end of year party). In return the hope is we help promote the Canadian Tire Kanata store before the holidays.

The date we picked to run our raffle is Saturday Nov. 30th. Each team will be given a 30 minute time slot. Whoever from your team is available can go to the store in their jersey and help sell tickets. We will have a SquareUp Machine to take credit and debit. Below is the schedule I have put together. If this doesn’t work for your team please let me know sooner than later. While having the whole team there would be great, we can run it with only a handful of players. I know it’s a lot to organize on short notice and to put on you before the holidays, but this will both benefit the U7 program and our sponsor Canadian Tire Kanata.

Managers, if you can coordinate with your team to have whoever is available to meet at the Canadian Tire Kanata store for your assigned time, that would be appreciated. Canadian Tire will have a table set up. I will have a money box and the SquareUp Machine ready to go.
