This past Sunday, the Stittsville Crashers had an unforgettable experience as they took to the ice at the Richmond Royals Junior B game. It was a fantastic game filled with excitement, team spirit, and even a bit of fundraising for the season ahead.
The highlight of the event came when the kids had the opportunity to skate onto the rink alongside the Richmond Royals for the national anthem. The young players beamed with pride as they stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the Royals, representing the Stittsville Crashers in front of a lively crowd. For many of the kids, it was their first time experiencing the thrill of being on the ice for a Junior B game, making it a moment they won’t soon forget.
The event was not only a special experience for the players but also a chance for the team to raise funds. Thanks to the support of parents and kids, we sold game tickets before and 50/50 tickets during the game, with all proceeds going directly to support the Stittsville Crashers. These funds will help cover important costs like tournament fees, team-building activities, and other essentials throughout the season.
