Champions of the Osgoode Rideau Winter Classic!
The Stittsville Rams U11-B1 Tier 2 team (known
as the Vipers) won the Osgoode Rideau Winter Classic over the weekend with an
exciting 4-2 win over the Osgoode Senators.
The team went undefeated during the tournament, with 5 wins including 3 shutouts. The Vipers had a plus 11 goal differential through the tournament, despite it featuring top teams from their league and the top house team from Kanata.
The team had been extremely close to winning their first two tournaments of the year and were not going to be denied a 3rd time. The team’s determination, effort and team play made all the difference. The team staff is so incredibly proud of the players’ growth this year. Go Rams and Go Vipers!
