Welcome to the 2025-2026 Season!
Welcome to the 2025/2026 Stittsville
RAMS U10 Competitive season!
My name is Paris Nosé and I am excited to introduce myself as the Head Coach of the RAMS U10 Rep B team this year. This will be my sixth year in a coaching role, my fourth as a Head Coach among other roles I’ve had including being asst coach and on ice helper with both SMHA and KGHA.
This is probably most exciting time for many 2014 players as it is their first opportunity to play competitive hockey with the RAMS! I’m grateful for this opportunity help introduce competitive hockey and lead our team to make this season the best one yet for our young players. Tryouts are scheduled for early September. SMHA will ensure a fair and unbiased process with the help of independent evaluators so that all players will have an equal opportunity to earn a spot on the team.
Coaching Philosophy
Once our coaching staff is determined after the team is formed we will work together to build a shared vision that aligns with shared core values, principles and goals for the season. The season will be guided by the following core principles that reflect the values I aim to instill in the players:
1. Development Focus: We will follow hockey Canada’s Pathway program. Every game and every practice will an opportunity for each player to work hard, grow and get better - whether it be mastering a new skill, improving decision making, or building resiliency. Practice sessions will be purposeful, high-tempo, and progressive—designed to challenge and engage players. The goal being, as time goes on, the players will build self-confidence, self esteem and pride in what they accomplish which is essential for growth both on and off the ice.
2. Growth Mindset: Work Ethic, Accountability & Discipline: My goal is to create an environment where players are always looking for ways to improve. I will work to instill a growth mindset of becoming better every day through the values of discipline, and accountability. Players will be encouraged to set goals and take ownership of their improvement and put in the work – even beyond the rink if they want. This includes not only improving their hockey skills but also developing leadership, and teamwork. We will develop a culture where mistakes & execution errors are viewed as an opportunity for growth when they tied to a positive attitude and effort.
3. Passion for the Game & Having Fun: I want every player to feel a true love for the game, to have lots of fun, and to be excited to come to rink everyday. Hockey should be fun no matter how competitive it gets. Through engaging practices, competitive games, and memorable team events, my goal will be to inspire a love for the sport that motivates all players and families to stay involved in the game as RAMS players for years to come.
4. Team Work, Respect & Safety: This will be the foundation of the team culture. This includes respect for teammates, coaches, officials, opponents, and oneself. I will emphasize the importance of creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every player feels valued, safe, and empowered to contribute. Being a good teammate—encouraging one another, putting the team first, and leading with kindness—will be a key part of what we practice and expect throughout the season.
