Dear Rams Families,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2025–26 U12 Rams Competitive season. I
am proud and excited to return as Head Coach again for another great season. Last year was defined by hard work,
development, and a culture of respect, effort, and fun. This year, we’ll build
on that foundation and take things to the next level on and off the ice.
Our Mission and Philosophy
This team will be built on a
coaching philosophy that emphasizes effort, accountability, and team play. I
believe hockey builds important life lessons: show up with purpose, always give
your best, and respect and support those around you. Our players will be
challenged to grow as athletes and as individuals, build resilience to
adversity, and contribute positively to something bigger than themselves.
We’re here to compete, develop,
and have fun. We will practice with
intensity, play with passion, and create a culture where every player feels
valued and motivated to grow. Throughout the season we will strive to be a team
that is hard to play against and one that positively represents the RAMS hockey
family.
Key Values We Live By
- Work Ethic: Hard work beats
talent when talent doesn’t work hard.
- Respect: For the game, the team, officials, and each other.
- Leadership: Everyone leads by example effort, attitude, unselfish play.
- Team First: The name on the front matters more than the one on the back.
- Growth Mindset: We don’t lose, we win or we learn.
Parent Partnership
We
are all role models for these young players. I ask for your support in
maintaining a positive environment in the stands, around the rink, and at home.
Encourage your child, cheer for the team, and trust the process. If you have
questions about development or progress, I’m always open to a conversation.
Our Season:
What to Expect
We
anticipate 3–5 team activities per week including practices, games, off-ice
training, and team events. This is a competitive program, and commitment is
expected. We recognize the importance of family and school, and we will always
prioritize communication and balance.

Let’s Go, Rams
The most rewarding part of coaching is watching
kids grow on the ice, as teammates, and as young leaders. I couldn’t be more
excited to begin this journey with a group of hardworking, motivated players
and supportive families.
Let’s make this season our best one yet.
See you at the rink!
