Welcome to the 2025-26 Season!
Welcome to the 2025-26 Season!

Hi everyone,

My name is Kendall Acres and I’m excited to be a returning head coach for the 2025-26 U15 Rams. I’d like to welcome all players born in 2011 to try out for this year’s Rams team.

Tryouts begin September 11th and all participating players will be given a fair and equal evaluation and an opportunity to earn a spot on this year’s team.

Tryouts will consist of a combination of skills and skating drills, scrimmages, and exhibition games.  The evaluation committee will be composed of independent, non-parent, hockey knowledgeable personnel who will be looking for players who are attentive, skilled, disciplined, and hard-working.  Players who consistently exhibit a high compete level, positive attitude, and have a “team first” mindset will be critical to the overall team success.

Players can expect to develop both on and off the ice, through a combination of on-ice practice, off-ice instructional sessions, physical conditioning, games and team activities.

Practices will be designed to be engaging, instructional, and high-paced.  Drills will be designed to develop individual skills, to improve team play and to enhance in-game decision making.  Practices plans will have an appropriate level of progression throughout the year.  Players are expected to have fun at practice, and to bring with them a strong work ethic, be engaged, attentive and to be looking develop their skills and game play.

Players should expect to commit 4-5 sessions per week.  This includes games, practices, team, and team activities. Being a competitive club, all players are expected to attend all team events with exception made for illness, family, school, or personal reasons. Scheduled Tournaments The team is currently planning to attend the following tournaments this year:

1. TNT Fall Harvest Classic, Tecumseth, Ontario, October 17-19th
2.  International Silver Stick Eastern Regionals, Pembroke, Ontario, November 21-23rd
3.  Rams Showdown, Bell Sensplex, November 28-30th

4.  Tournoi Sherwood de Windsor, Windsor, QC, January 24-26th

Best of luck to all players participating in the tryouts and I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the rink.  Until then, hope you all have a great summer.

Thanks,

Kendall Acres
