U16 Rams bring home gold in the Oshawa Challenge
Congratulations to the U16 Stittsville Rams for winning Gold in the Oshawa Challenge Nov 14-16th weekend.
The tournament had mostly teams from the Ottawa B League so had some familiar competition. Rams went undefeated in the Round Robin to clinch first place going into the semi-finals. The Rams faced the home team, Oshawa Generals, in the semi-finals and won 6-1 GOB Blues faced Osgoode Richmond Romans in the other semi game. GOB came out victorious with a win in OT against the Romans to face the Rams in the Finals.The final game was scoreless going into the 3rd. Rams got a goal with 5:18 left in the 3rd period and managed 2 empty net goals for a 3-0 final to win the gold.
