ShareSMHA Jr. Rams - Agreement Termination

Due to unfortunate circumstances, the SMHA has terminated our agreement with the local Jr B Team.Dear members,
As you know, last summer the Stittsville Minor Hockey Association announced a three-year partnership with the local Jr B team (previously called the Royals) which we were very excited about and were looking forward to a lasting partnership. This agreement included specific terms which both parties were responsible to deliver. Unfortunately, in mid-January it was evident to the SMHA executive that the Jr B team was not committed to fulfilling certain key obligations of the agreement. More specifically was poor communication, the lack of canteen hours at the JLA, and the development of local players. On February 13, 2015 after much consideration and after respecting the 30 day termination clause, we felt it was in the best interest of our membership to terminated this agreement. Subsequently, we have instructed the Jr team on two separate occasions to cease using the SMHA logo and brand (RAMS). As of March 11, the Jr team was still misrepresenting the SMHA by wearing and promoting our logo and brand (RAMS) for their sole benefit.
Additional information will be provided during our AGM in April.
