COACH INTRODUCTION LETTER

Welcome the 2015-2016 Major Midget (MM) RAMS Rep B Hockey Team. My name is Geoff Ley and I will be the head coach of our team.
 
Our MM RAMS team will be comprised of players who are registered with SMHA and are born in 1999 and 1998. Players who have previously played AAA, AA, B, High School and House League are all encouraged to tryout. This will not be a walk on team. I expect a very competitive camp!
 
MM Rep B is not goon hockey. I’ve had the pleasure to watch both my boys compete at the MM level for past three years. The games are fast paced, tough and highly skilled. Players generally have their family, school and work priorities set at these age levels. 
 
What I believe in:
1) strong defensive hockey, team first mentality
2) play loose, 100% confidence, take chances, aggressive, make mistakes
3) conditioning, DISCIPLINE, mental toughness
4) create a positive atmosphere, fair play all situations
5) 100% effort at all times, have fun, be energized

Toronto North York Knights AA Jan 29 – Jan 31
