Help Us Support Yak Strong

Mark was involved in a freak accident on a golf course in May 2016 that resulted in a serious spinal injury. The recovery process is a long one and it will require a significant financial commitment to get the care Mark needs. As a community we want to come together to and help them so they can focus on what matters most – family and recovery.

Run or walk 5km through the Kanata North Tech Park with your friends and family. 

Join us as we come together and Run Yakstrong on Sunday, October 2.

Location: KRP Community Hub (near Legget Dr. and Solandt)
8:00am – donation drop off/registration
9:45am – stretching warm up, words of welcome
10:00am – fast runners hit the course
10:10am – slower runners/walkers exit
Everyone back by 11:00am
BBQ, face painting, bouncer, music until 1pm

13 years and under $15
14 years and older $40

• All registrations include a limited edition 2016 Run Yakstrong t-shirt

 
Race kit pickup will be done the Friday and Saturday before the run.
 
Donations can be collected online from your personal fundraising page (once you are registered), and all funds raised will be going directly to Yakstrong! There will be prizes for the top fundraisers.
