Minor Peewee RAMS win Leeds Peewee Tournament!

Everyone was a bit nervous (mostly moms) when the day started as many of the players in this mixed Major/Minor Peewee Tournament towered over the Minor RAMS.  

Our players showed that the size of the player doesn't matter...but the size of the heart in the player is what counts!

We started the day with a 3-3 tie against Smiths Falls in a great game, then moved on to the A final after a solid 3-1 victory against Perth.  The A Final game was a hard fought one with Stittsville holding a 1-0 lead for a good portion of the game only to have the game tied early in the third period.  With the tension high the RAMS Colton Allen scored the winning goal with 2:48 left in the third.  
It was full team defense for the rest of the game, as we successfully killed the clock...and then celebrated the victory.

The Minor Peewee RAMS rose to the occasion and didn't back down from the older players in this tournament, which is a real testament to their confidence and desire to compete!
