The PeeWee A1 - Stittsville Thunder win GOLD at the Capital House League Championships!

The PeeWee A1 - Stittsville Thunder bring home GOLD at the Capital House League Championships.

Going into their 4th and final tournament of the year, the Stittsville Thunder had only one thought on their minds… keep the medal winning streak alive.

Having won Bronze in Syracuse, Gold in the Bell Capital Cup, and Silver in the Bradford Blue and Gold tournament the Stittsville Thunder needed just one more tournament win to finish their season with a perfect medal record. 

Winning all 3 of their round robin games (7-1, 8-1, 2-1) the Stittsville Thunder led the tournament and advanced directly to the semifinal round for a rematch against the formidable Leitrim Hawks A2 team. It was a tight game with Stittsville narrowly edging out Leitrim by a score of 1-0.

Undefeated going into the championship round, the Stittsville Thunder would face the other Leitrim Hawks A1 team. In the end, their speed and teamwork would prove too much for the Leitrim team, beating them by a score of 3-1, and bringing home GOLD.
