They Won! Congrats to the Stittsville Vipers!

PETERBOROUGH, ON. November 18, 2012. The Stittsville Vipers (PeeWee House League) won the 31st Annual Wally Beavis Tournament played over three days last weekend

The Vipers has a perfect 4 and 0 record in the round robin games, beating the two Kanata teams and teams from Barrie and Nepean.  They placed first in their division and went on to play the Barrie Lowes Green in the semi-final on Sunday morning winning by a score of 9-0. 

The final game saw them take on the Orleans Maniacs.  The Vipers were down 2-0 in the first period  and 2-1 in the second  but managed to rally in the third period to clinch the championship with a 5 to 3 win.   Player of the game was Chris Evraire. This is the second year in a row that a Stittsville team has won the championship at the tournament.
