Clinics for New Goalies

In order to ensure that the Association has enough goalies for all teams, we would like to encourage goalie development and provide a forum for them to learn and enhance their skills. Stittsville Minor Hockey Association is pleased to announce that again this year we have partnered with CGD , Complete Goalie Development on Iber Road in Stittsville.

In preparation for next season, we would like to run a five week program for new goalies interested in playing goalie on a team next fall. This program is geared for second year IP and Novice players who would like to learn the basics of goaltending and perhaps help them to make a decision about being a goalie next season.

The clinic will commence on January 27 at 3 pm at CGD's training centre at 145 Iber Road, Stittsville and run for five Sundays. The cost is $150 for the clinic and will consist of progressive training sessions. CGD has developed a levelled program for their training sessions at the Centre and this will be the model for this clinic. There are a maximum of twelve goalies allowed in the clinic.
