IP Evaluations - Update

I know I am getting a lot or requests from them to play torpedo (that's the tennis ball game) :-)  

As you can tell there is a wide range in skating ability, hence the need to sort the kids to maximize their level of fun.  As I mentioned before, you will be amazed just how far all the kids will come by New Years.   

After this weekend, I can confidently say I do not need another conditioning session to start sorting the kids.  Therefore I have decided to hold all the evaluation sessions this coming weekend.  I feel the sooner the kids are placed on teams with coaches the better.  The sooner they start building new friendships, playing different activities, and becoming members of a team the more fun they’ll be having. So here’s the new schedule:

***Saturday's times are the exact same as previously noted.  The only difference is it's an evaluation session and not a conditioning session.***

Once evaluations are complete you will receive a phone call and/or email from your child’s coach letting you know what time to be at the rink for your first meetings as a team on Sat-Sep-21 & Sun-Sep-22.  Once kids are placed on teams scheduling will become a little easier & you’ll be in a better position to plan your weekends. 

Some special notes:

1. If you borrowed a jersey from me and have not returned it.  I will need it back this Saturday or before.  Please email me directly to get this sorted. 

2. Please no parents on the bench this weekend.  The evaluators will be trying to sort 180+ kids and will not be able to answer specific questions about specific children at that time.  Any questions or concerns should be directed towards me.  I will not be on the ice this weekend, but rather sat at the table in the lobby specifically to answer your questions.

3. I have collected all your requests about putting kids on the same team with other kids they know.  Rest assured I will make an honest effort to meet those requests.

4. Unfortunately I cannot meet requests to have kids scheduled for one time show up for another time.  Please respect the time slots your child is scheduled.
