Minor Atom RAMS Win the Capital Mid-Season Showdown!

The Stittsville Minor Atom RAMS Competitive Rep B team capped off a great weekend of hockey by defeating the tenacious Ottawa Sting 2-1 during a thrilling Championship final game to win the Capital Midseason Showdown tournament.

The Minor Atom RAMS took on Ottawa Sting, Cumberland Jr. Grads, and Ancaster Avalanche during round robin play. The RAMS emerged in the semi-finals to defeat the Cumberland Jr. Grads.

The Championship game against the Ottawa Sting was a hard fought affair, with lots of aggressive play throughout. A goal in the first overtime period sealed the victory for the Minor Atom RAMS. The team finished the tournament with 17 goals for and 6 goals against.
