Welcome U18 Parents,
 
My name is Bethany Roy, and I am the convenor for SMHA 2023-2024 U18 House League.  
 
I will be sending more emails in the next couple of weeks regarding specific conditioning and evaluation sessions times. Once registration numbers are finalized and all competitive teams have been made.
 
For those who are trying out for competitive teams, you will continue to receive emails from me until those organizations submit final rosters.  You are welcome at all house conditioning sessions and are expected to attend any evaluations that occur prior to close of the competitive tryouts.

Preseason Schedule
 
Every player will be invited to 2 conditioning sessions. The conditioning sessions will be made up of warm up drills and unevaluated scrimmages.
 
The dates for conditioning are:
 
Conditioning Session 1
Monday Sept 25th JLA starting at 6pm and last session starting at 9pm
 
Conditioning Session 2
Thurs Sept 28th JLA starting at 6pm and last session starting at 9pm
  
There will be 3 mandatory evaluation sessions where we will evaluate both individual skill and gameplay through scrimmages. The 1^st evaluation time slots will be assigned randomly and the remaining 2 will be assigned by email. All evaluation games will have referees.

Evaluation Session 1
Sun Oct 1^st JLA starting at 5pm and last session starting at 8pm
 
Evaluation Session 2
Mon Oct 2nd JLA starting at 8pm and last session starting at 9pm
Tues Oct 3^rd Cardel-A starting at 8pm and last session starting at 9pm
 
Evaluation Session 3
Thurs Oct 5th JLA starting at 6pm and last session starting at 9pm

Bench Staff Requirements
 
If you require a PRC this year, send me an email and I will send you the volunteer letter.
 
If you have a player that needs volunteer hours for school, please let me know as many of the younger levels starting Labour Day weekend are looking for on/off ice helpers.
