The Stittsville Minor Hockey Association is still seeking volunteers to join our team in the following positions:
· U7 House Convenor
· U9 House Convenor
· U11 House Convenor
· SMHA Tournament Coordinator
These roles are essential to keeping our association running smoothly and ensuring our players, families, and team staff have the support they need throughout the season.
House Convenors
A House Convenor is primarily responsible for communication and organization within their age group. Convenors work closely with their Director to:
· Organize and administer house conditioning and evaluations
· Communicate important information to families
· Support and guide team staff
· Track requirements using Excel (experience with spreadsheets and written communication is an asset) · More information can be found in the SMHA Constitution, pg-31.
Convenors play a key role in SMHA, they are an essential administrative and organizational support for their age level, and volunteers like these are the reason our association runs so effectively.

Tournament Coordinator
The Tournament Coordinator helps SMHA plan and host local tournaments across various age groups and tiers. This role is vital for:
· Organizing tournament logistics
· Supporting teams and families
· Providing additional local tournament opportunities for our players
· Helping SMHA raise funds to keep registration fees low
· Ensuring our association continues to offer strong programming and plenty of ice time · More information can be found in the SMHA Constitution, pg-27.
