Registration Information
Welcome to the Stittsville Minor Hockey Association registration information page. We offer both House and Competitive programs. Players who want to play either House or Competitive must first register with the Stittsville Minor Hockey Association. Below is a chart indicating what level your player will be in based on their birth year.

HCR 3.0 is Hockey Canada’s universal platform for managing all Hockey Canada participant registration. For instructions on how to set up your account and register, please see the Creating an HCR Number document.
Registration Fees
If your child is trying out for OVSS or OVT, please pay the $25 admin fee only. There is a specific option online that allows you to pay this amount for these specific tryouts. (This does not include those trying out for the SMHA RAMS Rep B.)

*** Note: Registration fees above do not include team fees. Each player will be asked to pay an additional team fee of up to $300.00 for house league and $500.00 for RAMS Rep B once the teams are formed.
Payment Options
- Visa or Mastercard — available on the online registration site.
- E-transfer — after completing registration online via the Hockey Canada Portal, send an e-transfer for the registration amount to payment@stittsvilleminorhockey.com. Please include the invoice number from the registration site along with the player's name in the comments section.
Important Notes
- To qualify for the regular rate, payment must be received and fully paid by July 27th for online or e-transfer payments. Payments received after this date will be charged at the increased rate.
- If you are sending an e-transfer, only one payment is required for families with more than one player.
- There is a maximum registration fee per family of $2,850.00 ($2,550.00 for payments before July 27th), regardless of the number of players in a family. This applies only to families where all players remain on teams within SMHA (House or Rep).
- Players who register on or before July 27th, 2025 will be guaranteed a spot on a team, assuming there are enough players registered in the division to form a team. All players who register on or after July 28th, 2025 will be placed on a waitlist and only placed on a team if space is available.
- Registration will close at 11:59 PM on August 15th.
Refund Policy — Important Dates
- Before September 1st: Full refund less $35
- September 1st – September 30th: Refund of 80% of the registration fee
- October 1st – November 30th: Refund of 50% of the registration fee
- After November 30th: No refunds for any reason
